Sara arrived in Oshkosh on Sunday, June 18th (Father's Day). Mark and I drove her to Oshkosh and helped her get settled into her room. Then we drove her to the auditorium to drop off her performance clothes and get situated in her dressing room. The hall to the dressing room was decorated with pictures of past Miss Wisconsins, Miss America's, and many other pageant related pictures. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, the time came when we had to leave our Miss Beloit and head home. It was emotional for both of us but we knew that she would have a wonderful time. The girls rehearsed Sunday evening and then came back to the hotel to get some much needed rest.
